CISO Dashboard

Run your whole security practice from one place

Security Assessments, Compliance & vCISO Operations

Every client. Every framework. One dashboard.

CISO Dashboard is the operating platform for security assessment practices: run HIPAA, NIST, CIS, PCI, CMMC, and SAFER assessments across all your clients, turn the gaps into a budgeted roadmap, watch your clients' vendors, and hand over a board-ready report — without living in spreadsheets.

Your expertise drives every answer. AI plays a supporting role — drafting the report narrative, suggesting a roadmap order, pre-filling vendor questionnaires from their own documents — and everything it writes stays editable, versioned, and under your review.

CISO Dashboard is currently available by invitation only. Reach out to inquire about access.

For vCISOs, Assessors & MSPs

Run more clients without more chaos.

  • One workspace for every client: assessments, snapshots, roadmaps, vendors, and reports — with assessors seeing only the clients assigned to them.
  • Copy an assessment forward each year and show the client exactly what changed, with year-over-year comparison built in.
  • Import what already exists: filled-in HHS SRA Tool and CIS workbooks come in with answers intact.
For Your Clients

A portal, not a PDF attachment.

  • Client contributors answer questions and rate risks directly while an assessment is open for input; executives get read-only access to everything about their organization.
  • Clients see their own roadmap live — status, owners, and costs — and can update progress on their items.
  • Reports arrive branded with their logo, with an executive summary that reads like it was written for the board, because it was.

Client Snapshot

A living, one-screen profile of each client — their environment, their people, their worries — that feeds straight into assessments and reports.

  • Highlights capture pain points, fears, sensitive data, and goals in the client's own words.
  • Security products in place across ~20 areas — EDR, SIEM, MFA, backup, cyber insurance — as logo pills from a curated catalog.
  • Key individuals with photos: CEO, CIO, security and compliance officers — who later show up as roadmap owners.
  • Everything autosaves and appears as the "existing environment" section of the report.

Assessments

HIPAA SRA 3.7, NIST CSF 2.0, CIS Controls 8.1, PCI DSS v4, CMMC 2.0, and SAFER — each with its own scales and tools, all in the same Draft → Open for input → In review → Final flow.

  • Color-coded question cards with notes, flags for review, and framework-native scales — CIS implementation levels, NIST current vs. target tiers, PCI in-place/CCW, CMMC met/not-met with POA&M.
  • Clients answer directly while the assessment is open for input — no emailed spreadsheets.
  • Import a filled-in HHS SRA Tool or CIS workbook and keep every answer.
  • Copy any assessment forward to start next year's in minutes.

Risk & Scoring

Every framework scores 0–100 by category and overall, and HIPAA adds a full threat register — so "how are we doing?" always has a defensible answer.

  • Threats & vulnerabilities register with likelihood × impact ratings rolling into a risk matrix.
  • Answer safety by category shows exactly where the weak spots cluster.
  • Comparison across assessments charts the score year over year — proof the engagement is working.
  • An AI summary with a single Top Action distills each assessment to what matters most right now.

Budget & Roadmap

Findings don't fix themselves. Price every recommendation in the Budgetary Assessment, then lay the work out on a client-wide Gantt roadmap the client can actually follow.

  • Each budget row is internal (hours × your rate) or external (dollar range), with min–max totals and a cost-split chart — exportable to Excel.
  • "Add from assessments" pulls budget rows, scoring gaps, and high/critical HIPAA risks onto the roadmap in one click.
  • Items carry workstream, priority, status, costs, and an owner picked from the client's key individuals.
  • AI "Suggest" proposes an order with a reason for each item — nothing moves until you apply it.

Your clients' vendors are your problem too

Third-Party Risk

A full vendor risk program per client, plus a roll-up across your whole practice — inventory, tiering, questionnaires, public-data signals, and findings through to closure.

  • Continuous public signals: CISA KEV, breach history, OFAC/OIG/SAM exclusions, SEC cyber incidents, sanctions lists, plus email and web security checks (SPF, DMARC, TLS, and more).
  • Vendors answer security questionnaires through an emailed link — no account — with AI pre-fill from their own SOC 2, CAIQ, or HECVAT documents, quoting page and source.
  • Findings get owners and 30/60/90-day due dates by severity, and vendors get a fix link to respond.
  • Fourth-party view shows shared providers and vendors several clients depend on.

The deliverable that wins the renewal

Reports

One click assembles the whole engagement into a hyperlinked, dual-branded document — PDF, Word, or live preview — that reads like a consultancy wrote it for weeks.

  • Cover with "Prepared for" and "Prepared by" logos, framework preamble, and an AI-written executive summary you can edit, with version history.
  • Charts, risk matrix, year-over-year comparison, existing environment from the Snapshot, budgetary assessment, and the roadmap — plus an appendix of every response.
  • Areas of success alongside the risks, so the client hears what's working too.
  • Every saved report lives on one Reports page across all clients; data also exports to Excel, CSV, and re-importable JSON.

Security & Control

A compliance platform has to clear its own bar. CISO Dashboard enforces strong sign-in, isolates every tenant, and keeps an audit trail of everything.

  • Mandatory MFA from day one: passkeys and security keys (Face ID, Touch ID, YubiKey) or authenticator app, with recovery codes and idle sign-out.
  • Strict tenant isolation, with assessors limited to their assigned clients and secrets encrypted with AES-256-GCM.
  • Uploads are malware-scanned; nightly encrypted backups go to tamper-proof storage.
  • A 12-month audit trail with CSV export — and sharing across organizations is explicit, audited, and revocable.

Your Data, Your Providers, Your Rules

CISO Dashboard keeps every client's data in one encrypted, tenant-isolated platform instead of scattered across workbooks and inboxes. Bring your own storage bucket, your own email server, and your own AI provider — Anthropic, Google, Mistral, Cloudflare, or a local model on your own hardware — each organization's keys stored encrypted and used only for its own work. And everything exports: Excel, CSV, and JSON you can re-import anywhere.

Security & Privacy By Design

Every organization on the platform is strictly isolated, with mandatory strong authentication — passkeys and hardware keys, or an authenticator app with recovery codes — and assessors scoped to only the clients they're assigned. Secrets and API keys are encrypted with AES-256-GCM with key rotation, uploads are malware-scanned, and nightly encrypted backups land in tamper-proof, object-locked storage.

Accountability is built in: a full audit trail of sign-ins, exports, sharing, and configuration changes is kept for twelve months with CSV export, and monthly archives are retained for three years. Cross-organization sharing is always explicit, notified, and revocable — nothing leaves a tenant without a deliberate decision.

The platform itself is held to the standards it measures: hardened against the OWASP baseline with enforced content-security policies, rate limiting, signed container images with software bills of materials, and recurring internal security audits.

Built By Assessors, For Assessors

CISO Dashboard grew out of Decisive Resources' own vCISO practice — it runs the way real engagements run. It's currently available by invitation — reach out to see if it's a fit for your practice.
